The Cross Currents of Global Healing and its Far Reaching Effects.
Dear Friends and Colleagues,
In 2006 Jazz for Peace™ performed a series of concerts across the United States from New York to California to benefit the Zigen Fund*, an organization which provides funding for girls to go to school who would otherwise be uneducated.
What few if anyone knew was that not only was this a great way to have a profoundly positive impact on the lives of thousands of young girls, but it was also one of the greatest ways of all to address Global Warming (AKA Climate Devastation).
WHY?
Because as entrepreneur, author, and activist Paul Hawken details in his best selling book “Drawdown”, Educating Girls is actually listed as the 6th most important solution to reversing global warming due to the fact that 130 million girls who are not in school and who could be would make very different choices that would have an enormously positive effect in this area. One of which includes having over 50% less children. And if this isn’t extraordinary enough, the 7th most important solution is “Family Planning” in general which these newly educated girls would make an enormous contribution to. And when #’s 6 & 7 are put together, the combination of both is actually the Number 1 solution to reversing Global Warming.
But guess what?
This was only 1 of over 850 equally important projects that Jazz for Peace has funded via our Benefit Concert Series that began on 9/11 and is now going into its 19th year.
ALL of which have similar “cross healing” effects.
And ALL of whose funding started out with a simple comment such as this one made by completing letter A at the Easy Steps Link below which takes as little as 3 minutes!
“I appreciate you and your colleagues for your incredible work!” ~ Wujing Harrison, Executive Director – The Zigen Fund (See thousands more simple funding comments HERE)
